E-mail: michael.zhan@yale.edu
Major: Economics & International Studies
Bio: Apart from studying and being heavily involved with CASA, I'm also committed to service work. I bring together Yale and Chinese college students to go on reach out teaching trips in rural areas of China during spring and summer. I play club soccer as well, with a great group of guys. I like to stuff myself when I eat, and I always have room for dessert after. I love end-of-the-world movies because they fire me up. I like to listen to songs on repeat. I care about climate change and want to focus on renewable energy in terms of career options. I interned at GE Capital in Korea the summer after freshman year and it was an amazing experience. And all that good stuff...just send me an email if you ever want to meet!

Besides serving as your CASA treasurer, I am a Morse representative on FCC, a writer for Yale Scientific Magazine, and a member of the Ballroom Dance Club. I also do research in neuroscience at the Med School. Some of the things I like to do outside of class are running, watching movies, and improving my guitar skills. Oh, and I love In-n-Out burgers. Jasmine Zhuang Cultural Chair

Cultural Chair
College: Calhoun '13
E-mail: jasmine.zhuang@yale.edu
Major: Undecided
Bio: Hey everyone! I'm currently a freshman in Calhoun College, and I hail from Moorestown, NJ. This fall, I was a freshman liaison for CASA, and I am next semester's Cultural Chair, meaning that I'm responsible for running the annual CASA Cultural Show. Apart from CASA, I’m also in Girls Run (a community service group) and DanceWorks (which doesn’t necessarily mean that I can dance…). In my free time, I like to steal food from the dining halls, make money from psych studies, and generally just lounge around on the futon in my common room. I love being a part of the Asian-American community here at Yale, and I’m excited to see what next year has in store!

Tim Wang Secretary

Secretary
College: Trumbull '13
E-mail: tianheng.wang@yale.edu
Major: "I have no idea"
Bio: My life at Yale includes vegetating in front of my computer, music stuff (cello), and random Asian sports. It also includes power sleeping, power eating, power napping, power studying: stress, I have a lot of stress. I like things that have the Ralph Lauren Polo logo on them, excessively. If you see me without an article of clothing that is NOT from Ralph Lauren, you may shout at me. I like Asian things. Asian food, Asian stuff, Asian...people :) Staying up really late is not conducive to my well-being, but I do it anyway and everyday. This bio's randomness is a direct result of my staying up late. That's me in a nutshell.

Not a very long list but I guess it's enough to fill my time. As for hobbies...I'm learning how to knit! And I love watching Asian Dramas, which I have not had time to do here at all. Hmmm, and I LOVE chocolate, its just irresistible :)

Major: Biomedical Engineering & International Studies
Bio: In addition to CASA, I work with the social entrepreneurship and technology departments of YES, Engineers Without Borders, and the L.E.A.D. program. I go to lots of concerts and am constantly on the lookout for free t-shirts and food. I like döner kebab and dumplings, all things WIRED, and spending my money on expensive movies and CDs... psych! It's all about the download. In my spare time, I hunt for good deals, play piano, and get thrashed by Fritz. I also like communities. Go CASA!

Jessica Su Communications Chair

Communications Chair
College: Saybrook '13
E-mail: jessica.su@yale.edu
Major: Bioengineering
Bio: Skills that I have: watching Chinese drama for 24 hours non-stop, going to karaoke with friends and singing for hours on end, and eating junk food (ie cake, ice cream, bread, and other forms of sugar). I like to hike and spend time in national parks. I hate insects except for butterflies and ladybugs. I can't stand it when guys pretend to be girls by making their voices high-pitched. I love to shop in Taiwan and get good deals. Someday, I hope to travel all over the world with my close friends.
